FR APARTMENT

92 sq.m, Ivano-Frankivsk

CONCEPT

92 SQUARE METERS OF COMFORT AND SPACE ARE DESIGNED IN A LACONIC AND RESTRAINED MINIMALISM IN A MODERN MANNER.

“THE MAIN SOLUTION INCLUDED AN OPEN PLAN, HIDDEN ELEMENTS, GRAY TONES AND STONE VENEER. THIS DESIGN MEETS THE NEEDS OF A YOUNG FAMILY AND IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO CREATE A STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE INTERIOR IN A MODERN STYLE.

DESIGNER OF THE FR APARTMENT PROJECT

“WE LEAVE DESIGNERS A FREE FIELD FOR CREATIVITY. OUR REQUEST IS MINIMALISM USING ROUGH TEXTURES IN BLACK, GRAY AND WHITE SHADES. THE DECOR IS SUBTLE. WE LOVE SIMPLICITY :)

PLANNING

TO MAKE THE LAYOUT CONSISTENT WITH THE DESIGN INTENT, THE TEAM DECIDED TO DEMOLISH A WALL AND COMBINE THE KITCHEN WITH THE LIVING ROOM.

THIS WAY WE MANAGED TO GET A LARGER AREA FOR SEVERAL ZONES ONCE: WORKING, COOKING, AND, OF COURSE, RELAXATION.

IN THIS PROJECT, THE LAYOUT IS OPEN: THERE IS A KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM AND CORRIDOR IN ONE SPACE.

THERE IS ALSO SPACE FOR A WORK AREA - AN OFFICE WITH ACCESS TO THE BALCONY.

VISUALIZATION

WE SUGGEST THAT YOU FIRST LOOK AT THE OPEN SPACE OF THE KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM. THE OWNERS WANTED AN UNOBTRUSIVE INTERIOR FOR THIS SPACE. THAT'S WHY THE COLOR SCHEME IS MONOCHROME.

IT FEELS SPACIOUS AND LIGHT. AND IN ORDER NOT TO OVERLOAD THE SPACE, WE DECIDED TO REMOVE EVERYTHING THAT WOULD MAKE ADDITIONAL ACCENTS.

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE HIDDEN SKIRTING BOARDS, FLUSH-MOUNTED DOORS AND HIDDEN SHELVING.

AN INTERESTING ELEMENT IN THIS AREA IS THE STONE VENEER ON ONE OF THE WALLS. ALSO, A COMFORTABLE SOFA BY "INTERIA" CREATES ADDITIONAL COZINESS.

YOU CAN SEE HOW THE INTERIOR IS NOT OVERLOADED WITH FURNITURE AND IS CLEVERLY PLAYED UP. THE KITCHEN IS HIDDEN IN THE COOKING AREA, BUT THE ACCENT KITCHEN ISLAND IS THERE.

A HIDDEN KITCHEN? YES! AN INTERESTING SOLUTION WAS USED HERE THAT WILL SATISFY MINIMALIST FANS.

THE WORK SURFACE IS HIDDEN BEHIND A SLIDING SYSTEM, WHICH MEANS THAT THE BUILT-IN APPLIANCES AND THE NEAT "ISLAND" DO NOT DISTURB THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE LIVING ROOM AT ALL.

NEXT TO THE LIVING ROOM IS A BEDROOM WITH A LARGE WALK-IN CLOSET. IT LOOKS QUITE RESTRAINED. GRAY TONES AND STONE VENEER IN THE HEADBOARD ARE USED HERE. YOU COULD SEE THEM IN OTHER ROOMS, WHICH TIES THE INTERIOR INTO ONE WHOLE.

THERE IS NO COMPROMISE IN THE BEDROOM BECAUSE IT IS THE POWER PLACE IN THE HOUSE. IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR THE CUSTOMERS TO GET AS MUCH SPACE AS POSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE A LARGE BED AND TO ALLOCATE SPACE FOR A WARDROBE. SO IN THE REDEVELOPMENT, WE MOVED THE WALL CLOSER TO THE KITCHEN.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE WORK AREA. WE CREATED IT IN COMPLETE CONTRAST TO THE APARTMENT. THE EFFECT OF BEING "TORN OUT" WILL HELP NOT TO ASSOCIATE THIS CORNER WITH COMPLETE RELAXATION AT HOME.

LOTS OF LIGHT, A MINIMUM NUMBER OF ITEMS, AND A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF OFFICE RIGOR WILL PUT IN A WORKING MOOD.

THIS IS A LIFE HACK FOR PRODUCTIVITY AT HOME.

THE APARTMENT HAS TWO BATHROOMS. ONE OF THEM IS LOCATED NEXT TO THE BEDROOM. THIS AREA IS COVERED WITH MOISTURE-RESISTANT MICRO-CEMENT.

THE GUEST BATHROOM HAS PLUMBING BY "AGROMAT".
