ZYBRA HOUSE

220 sq.m, Zubra

CONCEPT

DIFFERENT STYLES CAN COMBINE TO CREATE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE DESIGN OF 220 SQUARE METERS IN A COUNTRY HOUSE.

THE OWNERS DID NOT WANT THE DESIGN IN WHITE COLOR. AND SINCE THE HOUSE HAS LARGE PANORAMIC WINDOWS, THEY COULD NOT BE AFRAID OF DARK SHADES. THE INTERIOR IS IN ACHROMATIC TONES INTERSPERSED WITH INTERESTING COMPLEX COLORS: FROM BURGUNDY TO BLUE AND DARK PURPLE. ROUGH TEXTURES AND NATURAL MATERIALS WERE ALSO USED.

“I LIKE THIS PROJECT. IT IS VERY INTERESTING, UNCONVENTIONAL AND QUITE CHALLENGING.

THE DIFFICULTY IS TO THINK ABOUT ENGINEERING, HEATING, AIR CONDITIONING AND ELECTRICITY BECAUSE THE HOUSE IS LARGE AND IT SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE. I ALSO USED ROUGH TEXTURES AND NATURAL MATERIALS AND WAS SATISFIED BECAUSE THE COMBINATION OF STYLES BRINGS A LOT OF INSPIRATION AND REQUIRES A SPECIAL APPROACH. AND NOW WE HAVE ALREADY STARTED TO REALIZE THE VISUALIZATION OF THE INTERNAL INTERIOR.

DESIGNER OF THE ZYBRA HOUSE PROJECT

“WE NEED A STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE INTERIOR FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE WHOLE FAMILY. IN THE HOUSE ARE LARGE PANORAMIC WINDOWS AND PLENTY OF NATURAL LIGHT, SO WE DON'T WANT AN INTERIOR IN WHITE COLORS. IT'S INTERESTING TO SEE SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, SO WE ARE FULLY PREPARED FOR ALL THE BOLDEST DESIGN IDEAS.

PLANNING

A COUPLE LIVES HERE WITH THEIR FIRST CHILD. THEY ARE YOUNG, PROGRESSIVE, AND THEREFORE FEARLESS.

SO THE DESIGNER DECIDED TO USE WHAT IS INHERENT IN THE LOFT STYLE - AN OPEN SPACE, INTERSPERSED WITH ROUGH TEXTURES, CONCRETE, OPEN BEAMS AND GLASS.

ALSO SHE ADDED A LITTLE LUXURY, SO THERE WAS A PLACE FOR THE TEXTURE OF STONE, WARM TONES OF LIGHTING, TEXTILE PANELS AND MATCHING DECOR THAT GOES WELL WITH THE COMPLEX COLORS OF THE INTERIOR.

ON THE 1ST FLOOR, IN ADDITION TO A SPACIOUS DINING ROOM, LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, TERRACE AND HALL, THERE IS A LARGE GARAGE FOR 2 CARS AND THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL ROOMS - A PANTRY, BOILER ROOM, LAUNDRY ROOM, AND A WARDROBE.

THERE WAS ALSO ROOM FOR A GUEST BEDROOM AND A SEPARATE BATHROOM.

THE SECOND FLOOR IS EQUIPPED WITH A SPACIOUS HALL CORRIDOR, ANOTHER TERRACE, THREE BEDROOMS FOR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR CHILDREN AND TWO BATHROOMS.

ADDITIONALLY, FAMILY WILL HAVE TWO MORE DRESSING ROOMS AND A TECHNICAL ROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR.

VISUALIZATION

THE ARCHITECT GAVE THE LARGEST SPACE OF THIS HOUSE TO THE KITCHEN-LIVING ROOM. THE STONE COUNTERTOP OF THE ISLAND ECHOES THE SURFACE OF THE FIREPLACE. THE LARGE WINDOWS WITH ACCESS TO THE TERRACE SERVED AS AN ECHO OF A LARGE GLAZED NICHE WITH SHELVES AND LIGHTING FOR DISHES.

BOTH ZONES ARE CONNECTED BY A DINING AREA WITH A FOLDING TABLE FOR MEETING GUESTS. IT SMOOTHLY PASSES INTO A SPACIOUS CORRIDOR WITH A STAIRCASE TO THE SECOND FLOOR.

BY THE WAY, BOTH THE LIVING ROOM AND THE CORRIDOR HAVE ACCESS TO A LARGE TERRACE. IN ADDITION, THERE IS A LARGE MIRROR AND MINIMAL FURNITURE. A SCULPTURE OF A WHITE ATHLETE AGAINST A BLACK MATTE WALL AND FLOWERPOTS IN CONCRETE POTS AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF PANORAMIC WINDOWS.

THERE ARE ALSO TECHNICAL ROOMS ON THE GROUND FLOOR: BOILER ROOM, LAUNDRY ROOM, WARDROBE. EVERYTHING IS PERFECTLY DESIGNED AND ALL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ARE HIDDEN FROM VIEW.

NEXT TO THIS ROOM IS A BATHROOM EQUIPPED WITH BLACK PLUMBING. THE ACTIVE TEXTURE OF THE TILES LOOKS RATHER BRUTAL NEXT TO THE WARM WOOD. THERE IS ALSO A MIRRORED CABINET WITH HIDDEN SHELVES.

THIS BATHROOM TURNED OUT TO BE QUITE SPACIOUS AND LIGHT, AS WELL AS THE STAIRCASE DESIGN, WHICH EQUIPPED WITH LIGHTING. THANKS TO THIS, WE HAVE +1 TO THE FUNCTIONALITY AND +100 TO THE CHIC LOOK OF THE INTERIOR DESIGN. THE RAILINGS ARE GLASS TO ALLOW MAXIMUM LIGHT TO ENTER THE ROOM AND VIEW THE LANDSCAPE OUTSIDE THE WINDOW. BECAUSE THERE IS NATURE OUT THERE. AND THIS ECO-ENTOURAGE IS MATCHED BY THE STONE TILES THAT COVER THE ROOM.

ON THE SECOND FLOOR THERE IS A SPACIOUS HALL CORRIDOR.

THIS AREA CAN BE TRANSFORMED TO THE MAXIMUM. HERE, THE MODULAR SOFA CAN BE FOLDED INTO DIFFERENT SHAPES. AND THE WARDROBE IS DIVIDED INTO A BAR AND SHELVES WITH GAMES.
THAT IS, THERE CAN BE BOTH A PLAY AREA AND A BAR AREA WITH ACCESS TO THE TERRACE IF THE OWNERS ORGANIZE A PARTY. THE WINDOWS OF THE HOUSE FACE SOUTH AND DURING THE DAY THE ROOMS ARE FILLED WITH SUN.

THE OWNER'S BEDROOM IS ALSO ON THIS FLOOR.

THERE IS A LARGE BLACK TEXTILE WALL WITH WARM LIGHTING, A BRIGHT PURPLE HUGE BED, A COZY PLACE TO SIT BY THE WINDOW, WITH SHELVES AND A FLOOR LAMP, WHERE YOU CAN READ. ALMOST ALL SURFACES ARE SOFT TO THE TOUCH, EVEN TEXTILE WALLPAPER ON THE WALLS.

THIS CREATES A SPECIAL SOFT COZINESS FOR THE BEDROOM, ALTHOUGH, FUNCTIONALLY IT CAN ACCUMULATE A LITTLE DUST. BUT OUR CUSTOMERS DECIDED THAT THIS IS A MINOR DRAWBACK, IN CONTRAST TO SUCH A STYLISH DESIGN SOLUTION.

THERE IS A BATHROOM BEHIND ONE OF THE BEDROOM DOORS. TILES WITH ACTIVE VEINS MARQUINA BLACK ARE COMBINED WITH GRAY STONE FROM THE SAME COLLECTION. EVERYTHING IS HIDDEN HERE, A LOT OF SPACE.

HOWEVER, THERE IS NOT ONLY ONE BATHROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR.

THERE IS ALSO A CHILDREN'S ONE.

IT'S COVERED WITH DARK TILES, BUT TO KEEP THE INTERIOR FROM LOOKING STRICT, THE DESIGNER ADDED A BRIGHT LEMON COLOR IN THE DETAILS, PLAYFUL MIRRORS AND STOOLS FOR CHILDREN TO REACH THE CUTE WASHBASINS. AND THE NUMBER B-127 IS THE NAME OF BUMBLEBEE, THE KINDEST TRANSFORMER.

BOTH KIDS SHARE A BATHROOM, BUT THE ROOMS ARE SEPARATE, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE VERY SIMILAR.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE COLORS. THE SAME FURNITURE AND LAMPS ARE USED HERE, BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAILS AND SHADES.
